On Target Goals Workshop!

In life you can’t hit a target that does not exist!

Last year the San Diego Success Club held an impactful workshop on the topic of short, mid, long range and lifetime goals. On Thursday February 16, 2012, we will once again, for the New Year, hold a transforming goals workshop that will help to paint that picture of your 2012 and beyond!

Do you ever feel as if you are drifting; a ship without a course or rudder? Do you have longer term dreams or goals that can help to keep that lift in your step when the chips are down in day to day life situations?

Having a target in life is arguably the most important rule of success. Not only can it provide us with that vision and incentive to persist through and overcome the various trials and tribulations of daily life but it can also serve as a critical moral compass. As social beings we are impacted significantly by social and peer pressures that may or may not be in line with our innermost feelings and desires. The value of this is that we are regularly presented with opportunities in life. The danger in this is that we all are vulnerable to being led astray or off course from a life that could otherwise be safe and fulfilling. So having specific, thought out, written goals for your life can serve as a test for filtering out those things that might not be in our best interests saving us valuable life time and energy that could be better spent elsewhere.

During the course of this interactive workshop we will actually work our way through an uplifting and enlightening written goals workshop. We will produce a specific customized set of written goals that will surprise and inspire you. It will brighten your outlook on the future and motivate you to create even more beauty and joy in your life. We look forward to you joining us for this valuable and fun workshop. See you there!

Thanks to Dr. Steven for taking time out of his very busy schedule to, very enthusiastically, discuss wisdom with attendees.
When the office schedule allows, I suggest to have the workshop 1 3/4 hours, so there's time for group sharing and not so rushed a presentation.

Hi Michelle and thank you for your wonderful comment and idea! One thing I have noticed consistently at our meetups is a high level of interest and enthusiasm in the subject material (my self included!) :-) A 60 min workshop simply may not best serve our needs. On the other hand, because it is a work night, for some a longer session could be more difficult to attend and as is the case with any public speaker it is critical that I keep the formal portion of the meetings within the posted time.

I will ask around some, take your suggestion into account and evaluate how to best schedule workshops. Additionally, it will be important once they are scheduled for my self and other organizers to keep things on track. Again, thank you for your thoughts, care and suggestions and I'll look forward to seeing you in Feb! -Steve
